GRWM | Makeup Tips For A Sunny Day
When hanging out with the guys, there will be lots of sweating and talks that will sound completely foreign...well to me because cars is like learning a whole different language. I can't even wrap my head around learning how to speak French or Spanish....and learning about car parts...hmmm, not today. I have to be mentally prepared for that. But any who, the moment I hear car meets, or meet ups coming out my friend's, a guy, mouth, I already know the look and type of outfit I will want to wear for the meet up. I know for sure that eyelashes is a no go, a beat face is out the question, and dressing cute is a big no no. Not about to waste an outfit because 9.5 out of 10, no one will be paying attention to my cute outfit. Their attention will be so focus on their vehicle or the next man's vehicle. Come to think of it, I should have dressed up. Maybe I would have one the award for creative vehicle (they would have mistaken me for one of those cool cars). Ha!:). Okay Nadria, Get out your head. Where were we...oh....So, therefore, a simple, natural look and a simple outfit is the way to go.
With that being said, let's get into this look. Here are a few tips I used to achieve a minimal look while hanging with the guys and how I kept my makeup intact during the sunny weather.
Started off with a good base. I skipped the creamy moisturizers.
I began by deep cleansing my face and after, used a face mask to hydrate and moisturize my face. At the moment, I am continuously using the YES TO face masks. My favorite one is the Grapefruit Vitamin C Glow-Boosting Paper Mask which helps to refine pores and radiate the skin. For primer, used the BECCA Velvet Blurring Primer - Perfecting Base . This primer help with creasing, refining pores, and minimizing shine.
For foundation, I used the BECCA Ultimate Coverage Foundation in the shade Amber. Use a foundation that doesn't move around and that clings to the skin beautifully.
I concealed my face with the Makeup Revolution Concealer. This concealer doesn't settle in my creases. Concealers can sometimes be a bit to much. Instead you can use your foundation as a coverage and highlight with a pressed powder.
I set my entire face with the Laura Mercier Translucent Powder. It's important to set the entire face to keep makeup transfer free and from moving around.
Since I was going to be in the sun, I used the Morphe Brontour Palette (Fantabulous) to give myself a flawless sun-kiss look. Bronzer brings warmth and brings everything together. It also gives a natural appearance.
I did wanted a little shimmer, so I used shimmer on my bottom lash line. Try to stay away from shimmers because it can easily give a sweaty appearance.
and....wear something light and comfortable. You will be walking around because that's why guys do in a parking lot with lots of cool cars.
Till Next Post...See you there!
