Purple Rain Makeup Look | MAC Prep + Prime Fix+ | Natural + Bold| #Modishlynaturalistic
Hey My Friends,
It's rainy and gloomy outside and I felt like purple was the color of the day. So, why not do a purple rain, natural makeup look with a bold lip.
For this entire look, I started off with a natural base. I prepped and primed with the MAC Prep + Prime Fix +. I might be the last person on earth to try this product, but friends, this was my first time ever trying the Fix+. There's always been so much rave about this product. I recently started recently seeing this in almost all Youtube videos, Instagram posts, and in my dreams. I've seen it before, but now it's everywhere on social media. They recently opened up an Ulta near me and I am in that store almost everyday. Inside, there is a MAC Studio Boutique located right in front of the entrance in Ulta. So, when I went to Ulta yesterday, the first thing I saw was the MAC Prep + Prime Fix+. I didn't think twice, I held my breathe, picked it up and went straight to the register. Walked out and let out a deep breathe..." this thing better be worth it".
Next, I created a natural base using the Fenty Beauty Pro Flit'r Foundation in the shade 400, the Ulta Full Coverage Concealer (my favorite because it doesn't crease) in the shade deep warm, and a settle bronzer by e.l.f Cosmetics in the shade deep.
To finish off the face, I did the following;
- Set a little with the Makeup Revolution Banana Powder
- Used my Ultimate Face Palette and took the purple shade (Mahalo) and used that all over my eyelids and on my bottom lash line, truly blending it out to create a soft, natural effect.
- For lips, my all time fave creamy Infallible Lip Paint By L'Oreal in the color Lilac Lust.
- I applied some mascara and lashes
- Lastly, I used the the Fix+ Spray to set; is this thing worth the hype.
YES IT IS HONEY BUNNI! It's worth the HYPE. I am SUPER HYPE. The MAC Prep + Prime Fix+ created a smooth, hydrated canvas for all the makeup products I used on my face. The smell is so amazing and the overall feel is lightweight, crisp, and refreshing. I love the soft sheen it gave me over my makeup. The Fix+ also blended all my makeup together, sheering out my foundation and giving my eyeshadow a little vibrancy.
I made it rain all over my face with the MAC Prep + Prime Fix+ and I didn't even have to go outside in this rainy weather.
So there, you have it, the last first impression of the Fix+.
Just know, it' never too late to try something that's been around. Ha!
Till Next Post. See Ya:)
